I'm trying to plan a couple of trips to the Pisgah, NC area in August.

Never been there yet. Can anyone point me to some choice trailage?

I graciously thank you in advance.

Bennet gap, perry cove, avery creek... so many. Pick up a trailguild and have fun. And for Dupont, Burnt Mnt., Ceder Rock-tons of slickrock and super fun to ride.
Check out Heartbreak ridge for speed and Farlow Gap for tech...

Yeah there are a lot of good trails, since this is in the dh board I assume you want tech, pisgah has a lot of good technical trails. Avery creek is a sweet trail that is fun on a big bike, like James said, Bennet and Perry are some of the best, but they are seasonal. Just don't be expecting manmade stunts or anything, the trails are so fun though, its my favorite place. Another fun super fast trail is Trace Ridge, although not one of my favorites, its definately fun. Also where are you coming from?
