Trails near Jasper, AR
I'll be in Jasper, AR next week and trying to see if there are any trails nearby. I have a Northern Arkansas MTB book, but the only thing it shows close by is the Moccasin gap trail system. Looks like it maybe mainly ATV and horse trails though.

Moccasin Gap is a great system It is well used by ATV & horses. I agree with scoutcat, drive to Syllamo trails in Mt. View.

Another option would be the trails at Lake Leatherwood in Eureka Springs. Great riding, don't miss Miner's Rock. http://arkansasoutside.wordpress.com/2010/04/09/early-spring-mountain-biking/
Or come down hwy 7 which is a scenic byway and hit the Womble or Cedar Glades in Hot Springs.
