Check out mmba.org for detailed lists and info
SE trails

I like island lake or brighton for a little harder but shorter ride maybury. the other good trail is stoneycreak metropark. the mmba web site will have directions. if you want harder pontiac lake is the one to go to:thumbsup: www.mmba.org
Like the previous posts say... there are a wealth of "good" trails in SE MI. I know you stated "nothing extreme", but what type of trail are you hoping to ride?

As mentioned:
* Island Lake Rec Area: Easy & very fast, with mostly easy, short climbs.
* Brighton: Murray Lake= moderately fast with lots of short steep climbs & good flow. Torn Shirt= tight, lots of twists & turns, with steep climbs with not a lot of flow.
* Maybury: One section is very fast and free flowing, the other section includes lots of short hills and other stunts (rock gardens & log piles) to challenge you if you choose. Bypasses are included if you choose not to ride the stunts.
* Stony Creek: A good mix of fast, technical, and flowing sections.

Other places to consider:
* Lakeshore Park (Novi)
* Hickory Glen (i.e. Commerce)
* Addison Oaks
* etc

As stated before check out the MMBA Trail Guide for more details. And don't be shy about posting on the forums too if you want some tips.

Cheers.

Okay, so it's a couple weeks late, but I really like the Stony Creek Single track, i.e.-the rollercoaster, the pines, etc.
