Trail Work Event - April 16

The Mad Dog Cycles Mountain Bike Race team is sponsoring a trail work event and invites all to attend.

What: BST (Bonneville Shoreline Trail) above Lindon and Pleasant Grove.
When: Saturday, April 16 8:30 am - 12:30 pm (come for as long as you can)
Where: Dry Canyon Parking lot
Directions: Go East on 2000 N in Orem. Continue to the top of the hill.
Turn Left on Dry Canyon Dr. After about a ½ mile the roadturns to dirt, continue
another ½ mile. There is a large parking lot where we will meet.

Details: We will be working with the Forest Service on this section of the trail. Last fall they made
a first cut Going North from the Dry Canyon parking lot towards Battle Creek Canyon. There are some sections that need to be reworked as well as adding some new sections. There is plenty of work to be done (more than we will be able to do on that day). The Forest Service is grateful and excited for our willingness to help improve the trail system in our area.

Extra Motivation: Remember beginning this year, that the Intermountain Cup will be awarding extra points to Individuals and teams for doing trail work. An Individual can earn 30 points for completing 4 hours of trail work. (no partial points will be given for less that four hour of work)
A team can earn 50 points for completing 20 hours of trail work.
