Hi,

I was talking with an old friend of mine about my new interest in 29ers. He now wants to dust off his older full suspension MTB and maybe do a ride. He lives in Tehachapi, and I live in the West San Fernando Valley. Is there any place in the middle that might work for us?

Since we aren't in the greatest shape, We are probably looking at being able to do some(emphacis on some) mild to moderate climbing and keep the limit of the ride to less than 15 miles. I doubt we could ride much more. We would consider shuttle rides.

Anyone have any suggestions? Would prefer single track or mixed fire road/single track. Technical is ok.

Thanks

There are some trails in Palmdale near the aqueduct(well right on it...)
On Godde Hill Road there will be a turn off where I have mapped kinda. Circled the hills where the trails are. It's not designated moto, horse, hiker, or mtn bike trails but you'll find people with them on there. Hit me up if you wanna ride, I know couple guys that know the trails better than me and be a sort of a guide.
