Rain will ring in the new year for the next coupla days.
The trails are currently wet, soggy, muddy, splashy, and rutted.

If you're visiting from out of town, welcome!
If you're visiting from out of town and "have to get in a ride, even if it's horrible", It will be horrible.
Thanks for not rutting the trails while they dry properly for your next visit. It will be worth it.

Happy New Year to Everyone.

Call a taxi Thursday night -- that's way worth it.

Check conditions at Soquel Demonstration Forest, which is the local bike park.

Hope you have been enjoying yourself

I've been to Ft. Ord a few times because of the weather... that place is perfect when it's wet.

What are you doing for New Year's Eve??? Inquiring minds want to know...

If you are riding on Ft. Ord on New Years Eve, don't kill the noob that will be out there on a borrowed bike! My wife and kids would appreciate it if I make it home.

Ord = good trails, great drainage
NYE = A drink at Monty's, a meal at Olita's, and then we're taking a green
chocolate tort to a house party off Ice Cream. Really. Couldn't make that up.

What kinda midnight madness you cookin' up over there?
