Can anyone post any Trail Conditions report for Patapsco or Loch Raven? I'm thinking of riding in either place tomorrow or Sunday...
Thanks!

Most of patapsco has been closed this week due to pretty major flooding. I'm guessing that almost all trails are still going to be pretty wet all weekend.

Loch Raven is a much better bet of the two. Patapsco is very slow to dry. Loch Raven, more average.

It wasn't too bad out there today...

Sad to see these signs. 25 years ago, before I moved out West and we were all riding 6 or 7 speed rigid bikes, every singletrack was open and everyone you met was friendly... We weren't even on the DNR's radar.

I've missed this kind of riding:

Dying bat. Possibly rabid. Be careful out there...

Until next time...

Patapsco was open Sunday when I went for a hike with the pup. The muddy/wet spots that are usually always muddy were bad but I have still seen it much worse. Another week without rain and I predict it being good to go.

Main parts of Patapsco (either side of swinging bridge) were so-so yesterday (Sunday). Rockbranch was terrible and worth avoiding for a little while longer.
