I'm an hour north & the trails here are snow covered...thought they'd be great tomorrow after the rain & a freeze-up but now it looks like it will be too warm & it will be too sloggy for my tastes anyway.
Snow. Gotta come to the coast if your looking for dirt. Zero snow in the Portland area. My guess is very minimal snow in places like Bradbury and Fort Rock after all this rain.
Ended up with rain most of Sunday on top of the existing snow. 1-4 inches of snow tomorrow so doubt conditions will be improving anytime soon. Thanks for the replies.
Lots of the pinnacle in Newport has been packed by snowshoes so it should be pretty hard after it cools pack down.

I'm planning to ride Newport this weekend unless we get more snow! I was thinking of trying it without studded tires. With the rain on Sunday and a couple inches of snow today maybe its icy underneath? Maybe I'll throw them on anyway to be on the safe side. I will post after ride trail conditions update.
