I realize that as usual the cold temperatures and chance for snow are coming in time just for the weekend, but assuming the weather holds up, just an FYI: Alderfer is in excellent shape! Even Evergreen Mountain is clear with only shallow, very ridable, snowy (not icy) patches all the way up to the top. And, based on a driveby, I'm assuming there's a good chance Bergen's ridable as well.

:)

White Ranch is in good shape too, some icy hike-a-bike patches around the start of Rawhide, but well worth riding. Don't let the ice around Rawhide's shaded waterbar section fool you. After the junction at the bottom of the hill (pictured below), the trails are very clear on the other side.

Needless to say GM and MW are in excellent shape. Have fun riding wherever you go. Any other trail conditions are welcomed!

I was just looking at this:

Weather Report

May be putting those Nokian studded snow tires on one of my singlespeeds soon.

Cheers,

Dave
Yeah, d'oh! I checked the weather forecast before posting this thread, and it said "chance of flurries" for Saturday. I wrongly figured we might have a chance to sneak in a ride before those "flurries" came in.

Apex looks to have been dumped with a just about 6" of flurries. :(

So it's the spin and road bike for at least a few days.
