Hey Guys,

I know there are a bunch of you guys in the UK posting as well as some lurkers - I was wondering what are 8-10 "must see" bike shops in London. I'll be there on business from August 27-30th. I'd like to hit some really high-end shops all the way down to high-end "big box" chain locations if they exist over there (like the us equivalent of Supergo, Performance, etc.) I'm looking for 3 days worth to keep myself busy. If you have website url's too that would be awesome.

P.S. - Cloxxki, i'll be in the Amsterdam area after Eurobike from Sept.5-7th... I'll p.m. you...

Thanks guys, Brett

Man, I feel your pain in regards to this one. I've done it a few times myself. Hopefully the damage to house, bike, and car isn't too bad. Let's hear the repair list!

I hope to have the damage list and pics soon. It happened late last night, and after having to cut my Yakima viper off just to get my bike off I was so pissed I just left it and had a few sierra nevada p/a's then went to sleep. From what I can see though, my Marathon/bars/brakes are toast, and I think I might have ovalized my headtube. What a shame.

London

Sorry I can't be of much help to you, I'm a country boy, and nothing could entice me to go to London again. Evans Cycles has quite a few shops in the London area, they do a lot of mail order ( google for their website addy) but I don't know what the actual shops are like. If the other Brits on here can't help you could pop into the singletrackworld.com or bikemagic.com forums and ask for ideas.
Enjoy your Trip,
Luke

That is horrible! I hope the frame is alright, the rest of the bits are replaceable! I don't keep a garage door opener in the car anymore for that very reason....after two or three "garagings" I had to do something!

Best,

Brian
