Hello. What kind of cranks are these? The angular nature of the pedal thread area is throwing me.

Yeah, but all my CQP type crank's look closer to Cook's, i.e. more defined dogbone. I'm actually thinking their not Topline becuase they don't have the flattened section on the crank backsides. The only Graftons I've seen are the Joysticks and their definitely different.

It's all so confusing.

Whether they were sold as Topline, CQP, or Graftons I dont know.

Taiwanese rip off????

or does the machining look fine. If they are made from a soft aluminum they may be Taiwanese rip off products which were plentiful in the early nineties. The triangulated bottom throughs me for a huge loop. People on this forum should know, John Grafton did very little of his own machining, the majority of it was farmed out, mainly to the Topline people.

Probably not Topline branded. Toplines pedal threads were blind threaded (is that the right word). The pedal hole didn't go all the way through.
