Topaz install

Been a while since installing my first Topaz.

The forward or top mounting point has two O-rings like so…

Whereas the bottom or lower mounting point only has 1 o-ring per side. Pic from DVO owners manual which only shows install of the single O-ring type. Also, the plastic caps are more like washers for the top. The bottom has caps like in the pic below.

1. First pic: do I use both o-rings and in the sequence I have laid out?

2. Any chance the plastic “caps” need to be moved from front to back and vice versa? They did come in separately labeled packages from DVO.

In looking at the frame photos it looks like it (frame) is 20x8mm front and 40x8mm for the rear.

Based on that the top hats would go on the rear/bottom eyelet and the dual set of o-rings.

In the picture you can see something similar to the DVO top hat/caps there on the lower link connection.

Are you running the white Delrin press-in bushing top/bottom? The o-ring pushes into a groove on the bushing and then install the spacers. I’ve only ever used one o-ring per side.

Yes

After looking at things long enough, I deduced that it only took one o-ring per side on each mounting point.
