For Christmas, I got my girlfriend a 2006 Dakar XLT 3.0 frame on closeout from Jenson. On Christmas morning she opened up her frame to find that the chainstay was cracked where the pivot bearing was pressed. As you can imagine it was a complete bummer because she was so excited to get the frame and I was equally excited to give it to her. On Friday the 26th around 6:30pm I brought the frame to our local Jamis dealer (Ski Market), and they said they would call Jamis on Monday morning. Wednesday morning I called Ski Market to check the status of the claim and they replied..."It's all set"!!! I couldn't believe that it took only 2 business days for all this to happen! Jamis customer service is truly fantastic and they're a company that stands by their product. I just wanted to give credit where credit is due!!
