I got 3/16" long scratches running perpendicular to the top of the rims going all around, only on one side of my Rhynolites. They look like tooling marks, but can't be felt by the hands or fingernails.

This is a machine built wheelset. I'm not sure if it was caused during the wheel build, or during the manufacture of the rim. Both front and rear wheels have the scratches throughout the circumference. Only on one side.

Anyone receive a wheelset like this? I'm debating whether or not to return it. It seems only cosmetic, but I don't recall ever seeing this type of scratches on a wheel. I could try steel wool, but this shouldn't happen to a new wheelset.
