I have an almost brand new Cannondale mountain bike. It never really noticed it before, but it seems like there are too many Cannondale decals on the frame.
I have an 08' F5. Is this normal for Cannondale bikes? Where they normally put the
made in the US decal, they have a Cannondale decal and same thing on the other side.
Then another cannondale on the bottom bar.

Having read a few of your recent threads you seem to be experiencing buyer's remorse. I'm pretty happy with my F5. It fits me and feels good to ride, I don't really care about how it looks as long as I'm having fun and it's doing what I want it to.

If you're not happy with your bike maybe you should stick it on ebay and get something else? Other people can't validate your choice for you, only your opinion matters.

I think your're right dude, and it's probably in my head. I'm so frustrated because I'm home after getting injured on my job, and I can't take my bike out because I'm sick and on workers comp.

I'm sorry to hear that.

As far as the whole buyer's remorse thing goes, if you'd bought a Rock Hopper you'd probably be wishing you'd had the money for a Stumpjumper, If you'd bought an F1 you probably be lusting after a Taurine. It's the nature of this forum.

So much bike porn to look at.

All that matters is how much fun you're having when you ride. When you're well enough ride your bike as hard as you can and enjoy what you've got. At the end of the day it's two wheels and a frame.

I used to have a whale of a time on hand me down bikes with no gears and sit up and beg bars when I was a kid. It didn't matter. Just enjoy the ride.

I am a minimalist myself and would prefer less graphics on my bikes. I really liked my BBQ black Rush with the subtle (but highly reflective) graphics. My current Prophet is also BBQ black but has more visible graphics and it's still pretty low-key.

Count how many times that bike says Cannondale on it then go and pick a Specialized and see how many times they put their name on it. Cannondale does a much better job keeping the number down in my opinion.

I thought it was the other way around. Where it would say Handmade in US, it says Cannondale and than again underneath. It's like they're trying to hard to push the sale.

Cannondale clearcoats all their decals, even the one at the base of the lower tube that has the safety info on it!

The worst manufacturer I've seen in the shop for decals on a bike is Raleigh USA. One of their bikes has the name 3 TIMES vertically on the face of the headtube alone!!! We counted the Raleigh name plastered 9 TIMES on the whole bike! (now THAT is overkill! My Giant actually only says "Giant" twice, and "AC" 4 times)

bwheelin - you could always get the frame re-shot at a professional paintshop and look on eBay for replacement decals

2 on head tube (vertically)
2 on HS spacers
2 on headset cap
2 on toptube
3 on downtube
3 on seatstay
2 on chainstay
1 on seat tube
2 on fork blades

Just imagine if I ran LOOK pedals, seatpost, handlebar and cranks. The number would be in the 30's.

What kind of bike do you ride?

Now that you mention all this, in '95 Cannondale only had their name once on each side, and the model number once on each side. Fork says Headshok once each side.

Another reason not to sell my '95 F700?...;)
