Went to the bike park to ride anywase despite the weather. Took my daughter who went sledding, figured we'd snap a couple and have some fun!
Riding in the snow was easier than expected, a little hard to get speed but still stuck corners better than I imagined!

Thought Id add that maxxis minion 3c DHFs actually worked really well aired down a bit. Hooked up nicely and the rear was pretty bald as well as missing lugs but still worked good! Wet screams or muddy marys would be my next tire but forwaht it was the maxxis worked great! Another use for the minion DHFs!

If you have some pics from snow day rides post em!!!

Do not ride with bald rear tire, its intresting! LMAOI! Cannot wait to get back to socal this march, this was fun but dont think I want to get used to it!

Added today from yesterdays ride! Theres a 2' hip at top that throws you up and out. Real easy to overshoot to bottom! :D

A couple from today: No foot seat grab (trying to get the feel for a superman) and a no foot ca can both ended up hitting the deck! :D LMAO

Thats funny, I was hte only guy with a bike there today, ton of boarders, sledders and skiers buiding jumps. Got funny looks till i started railing it then they and i realized you can ride in snow. I almost didnt take the bike off the truck in fear that it would be embarasing and wouldnt work! Glad I opted to tempt being the fool!

Near Elsinore again just temporarily while I go to school in SD.
Then its either back to Del Mar Penasquitos area or Carlsbad (If wife wants that) if not then towards LA (He!! Yeah!!!!).
Hows the recovery coming? Talked to Drew again the other day i need to see if he landed the client he was going for! We'll have to ride when I get back that way, Im trying to get time off from school for Sea Otter so i can race.
Hey keep the bike, injury and awareness fade and the need for adrenaline takes over again! :D

I just want to let you know that you and your bikes are the reason I have an unhealthy obsession with Canfields now. you bastard.

sweet riding pics BTW, we got a couple inches the other night and I had to break out the bike and drift around my yard a couple times :D

Thats a good thing, theres worse to be addicted too!
Yeah it was a blast, a little scary on the bigger stuff being your landing in berms on a couple as well as taking off from a berm and speed (hard to cary) and sliding are factors.
I want new tires (muddy marys or wet screams) so I can throw down.
 LOVE RIDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

here's mine from Saturday. It's tough to clear jumps in the snow, but I got it, the landing's out of frame. Snow rolls much slower than normal. We got a couple good runs in after some TM, despite frozen toes and fingers
