This is the first year we've run our swamp cooler, and it worked like a dream. Unfortunatley, the last couple of days, house has been really muggy, so I assumed the window has closed?
And NO, I'm not complaining about the heat. I LOVE 109 degree temps.

Just straighten you out. They have been using their swamp coolers (evap coolers). So, they have had cooling. Swamp coolers just don't work when its humid, so they have to turn on the freon type coolers (AC).crosley623 said:I just want to chime in and say you guys are absolutely nuts. My AC has been on for months, and I still can't sleep at night. This whole desert living thing is just something that's going to take a little longer to get used to.
