i got an amazing rear hub that i have never used
with the new bike... lets say.. a faith ( they have skewer rear hubs, no thru axle)
i got a profile racing rear hub thats 150mm X 10mm, so i would LOVE to use it, and it would save me $ on a new rear wheel.

so is there any way i can replace the bearings inside that can accept a skewer instead of a 10mm axle?

You can use that dude. Use the bolt on.


Skewer axles and 10mm thru axles are the same. Only difference is the skewer ones are hollow and shorter.

It is a solid 10mm axle that runs through a sealed cartridge bearing hub, so its the same strength as bolt on (not the hold) with the advantage of QR, but not really because I have one side bolt on...........
