I have heard mixed opinions on the usefullness of boots. I'm thinking about buying a Lizard Skins neoprene boot for my Cane Creek AD5 and removing the rubber boots from my RS JUDY C's. Opinions?

If your fork came with boots, boot them. If not, don't. The only exception I can see is if the boot does not touch the sliding bit of the fork/seal and you ride in heavy mud.

I hear that the fork boots trap crud underneath accelerating wear.
