Hello!

There will be TM session this coming Saturday, June 28, start time will be around 8:00. We will be meeting at the Tent Camping parking lot, and will be walking to the work site,

We will be working with the Morris County Parks Commission (MCPC) to continue the "Wall" re-route. This is a chance to fortify our relationship at the park and help improve an already great network of trails.

We had a great turnout this past Saturday. 4 hours and several bee stings later, we completed the upper portion and most of the middle section of the Wall re-route.

Rode Mahlon for the first time in ages today, and the new trails are awesome. The new trail finishing down the rocks -- awesome. Great work guys and gals.

Can someone tell me where this new trail is?

The re-route is (I believe) on the yellow trail after the intersection with the highlands (teal) trail. There was a loose, rocky descent that was more or less straight down that has suffered a lot of erosion in recent years. The new route puts in switchbacks that are a whole lot more fun and are also better for the trail system.

I always thought it was kind of fun...although I never quite made it back up without stopping. Need to give it another go before it gets closed.
