For me they were worth the cost. I wanted a bar with a big bend and there isn't a carbon bar out there like that. Yes, they "flex"... but after a couple rides I didn't notice it anymore.
I came from a Noir WC carbon bar and the Ti was noticeably more comfortable.
I've been running the Carver Prybar on both of my rigid SS 29ers. http://www.carverbikes.com/comp/prybar I've got almost a year on the first pair and really like them. Great width, sweep, durability and price! Weight is good, too.

I have Ti Groovy Luv Handles and love 'em. My other 'bendy' bars made of aluminum or carbon aren't nearly as comfortable. Looking at a Watson Cycles for my new Edelbikes 29+.

Those Parkarino bars by Watson are tempting me!
I'm torn between those and the Groovy Ti Luv Handle offerings. I'll be returning to a rigid setup once I move out of the rocky part of AZ next month. I've been pretty happy with the steel Luv Handles so unless I get impatient saving or hear incredible Parkarino reviews I'll be ordering from Rody once more.
Thanks to all who contributed above and kept my cravings alive.
Cheers,
M
I got a pair of the steel Luv Handles years ago, and I sold them after 1 ride. Way too stiff for my liking. The Parkarinos had noticeable flex, which is why I liked them on a rigid bike. I think they are wider than the Luvs too. They were perfect for out of the saddle climbing.
Funny, I was going to reply and say “Carver Prybar,” but realized I replied and said that back in 2014 when this post was created Still running ‘em on two singlespeeds. Best $99 bike part out there imho.

Andrew Watson custom-made my 720mm Titanium Parkarino bars, with 21-degree sweep. I love the fit, compliance and natural feel these thicker tubing ti bars have:
