The inner width of the SLR is 18mm. I run a Mavic 819MX rim with an inner width of 19mm and the max tire size is 2.3. I think 2.25 tire is pushing it on the SLR. 2.1 sounds more like it.

I am considering a used set of 2008 Crossmax SLR's. I currently run DT Swiss X430's with 2.25" wide tires.
My question is how wide of a tire can I properly use on a CM SLR? Will a 2.25 or 2.35 fit without issues?

I've been using 2.3" Speed King SS tires
on mine without any problems.

There's no problem using a wide tyre like a 2.25, however there will be considerably more tyre roll in the corners than with a wider rim. 2.0/2.1 is what the SLR is designed around
