So I slicced my sidewall on my brand new Maxis Igniters 29er tires. THey were only about 5 rides old and still has the "nipples" on the tire side I had to put a tubbe in it to get back to my car and it leaked STANS all over the inside of the car.

I brought it back to the slipery pigs shop and the red head chick said it wasnt her fault that i ran the tire into sharp rocks and damaged it. She says that warrantys dont cover that stuff!!!! I CALL TOTAL BS!!! ITS AND OFF ROAD TIRE AND SHOULD BE DESIGNNED TO HANDLE SHARP ROCKS. DONT YOU AGREE??!?!?!:madman: :madman: :madman: :madman: :madman: :madman: :madman: :madman: :madman: :madman: :madman:

I will call the credit card comepany and file a dispute. that will fix this problem.
You'd really plotz at the cost, and lack of warranty for side wall tears, on offroad truck tires then
These Are Defective Offroad Tires, They Shouldnt Pop On The First Rock They Hit>

I Will Talk To The Shop Owner Tomorrow And He Will Fix It Or Else!!!!
Credit card dispute...good luck with that.

Dude... that's the price of riding in Arizona. Get used to it. If the slice is not too big, you can patch it from the inside and it will be good for tubeless use. Otherwise, buy a new tire - use that Slippery Pig coupon you were willing to give away in another thread.
Maxxis Bicycle Warranty

"Exclusions: The Limited Warranty does not apply to damage or defect relating to: (1) road hazards (such as cuts, snags, punctures, or bruises), impact breaks, tire plugs and/or repair, vandalism, accidents, or abusive or unusual operating conditions, fire and/or chemical corrosion; (2) improper operation or maintenance such as, but not limited to, under or over-inflation, load, speed and inflation practices resulting in excessive operational conditions; (3) improper sizing, wheel alignment, Tire mounting or rim fit, use of puncture sealants; or (4) bicycle mechanical problems (such as faulty, worn, or malfunctioning brakes)."
So Nobody Thinks Its Suspicios That "off Road" Tires Pop When Thier New? Does Everyone Carry Spare Tires With Them Off Road? Something Is Not Right Here>

And Why Should I Have To Pay For Defective Tires Couppon Or Not??!?!!?!?!?
You can troll better than this lame attempt.

   Thanks for my morning laugh!

You cut your sidewall, get over it, and get a new tire. It's part of mountain biking.

Everyone has had this problem at some point in their riding lifetime! I can tell you that I have cut probably 10-15 tires in the past 15 years of riding out here, it comes with the conditions that we ride in. You really need to grow up and act like an adult if you have the mental capacity to do so.

Also the warranty applies to defects in materials and workmanship of the tire, not your inability to avoid a rock that can and does rip out sidewalls. If you can't handle the possibility of equipment damage from the terrain and conditions that are present in mountain biking then you need to sell your mountain bike and buy a road bike.... oh wait the same can happen on a road bike due to debris in the road, nevermind just sell all ofyour bikes and never buy a bike again and confine your self to your couch.

### happens. It is not a defective tire.
Whats a couppon?

I hate to sound like a shill for Spech but they are standing behind their upper end tires S-works fast-trak LK's and and the "Control" fast-trak LK's, even sidewall tears. 44.99-59.99

Expensive but awesome all around
choade!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
