This will be my first set of tires that I buy for my mountain bike. I currently have Specialized Control Fast Trak LK that have only about 25% tread left (came with the bike).

I ride AM, XC, and road when the conditions aren't suitable for my road bike. Need something that will work for most situations, would be great to get some really knobby tires for the wet and muddy conditions right now but that doesnt work very well for much else. I was thinking of using the WTB Stout 2.3 on the front and WTB Wolverine on the rear.

Just saw the thread on the Fire XC Pro and thinking about switching to that instead of the Stout on front.
