Hello,
today I came by a brand new, in the box, tioga revolver crank. I remember thinking these were pretty cool way back when. However, when I did a little research this evening I see people talking about breaking the spider. Does anyone here have any experience with the Revolver crank? They certainly look the business, black and tubular. I have these and a set of nearly new cook brother cranks (just as old) that I'm considering using next. If the Tioga's have real durability issues I may restrict their use to commuting / coffee runs. Thanks!

I' run Tiogas on a bike. It doesn't see a lot of mileage, but they were used when I bought them, and I've had no trouble with them.
