At my wits end - I've just done a full service on ym 4x, fitted the full pro pack, and now that it's doen, theres still the tiniest amount of vertical play in the rear end. You can just feel it if you lift the rear of the bike, it's maybe only a millimetre, but it's there - anyone got any ideas?

That's what I thought, either that or the lower link. Just spoke to Santa Cruz, they thought bushings too, so I've ordered a set. And ordered myself the classic link for the 4x too, while I'm at it - toughen the bike up a little.

Yeah, my vote would be on the shock bushings. Vertical play is usually bushings/spacers...lateral play is usually a pivot/linkage issue.

Can't wait for the weekend, I have new pedals, new wheels, new tyres, new bushings, new upper link and new headset to fit. My bike won't know what hit it.
