How much grip do time z pedals offer compared to regular alloys with pins. I want a pedal that i can just leave on without being slow on trails, or clipped in when doing more dangerous urban stuff.

while the Z makes a nice clipless pedal with a good support platform, it just plain sucks for riding as if it were a regular flat pedal

Man, that was what i expected. Why don't these guys put pins on those things, those flats are almost useless without some good spikes.
