My wife is away for Christmas enjoying the holiday with her family, so I am home alone. Soon I will be going out with my friends for hopefully an enjoyable Christmas ride. When I get back I hope to have some pictures to share with my MTBR family. You all do consider me to be part of your family, right:) ?

Well I am finally back from two Sedona rides. The first ride was with the Mountain Bike Heaven Christmas Bushwhack ride. That is always an interesting ride since half of it is everyone trying to get lost on some new section of trail. I personally think that part of the ride is stupid, but I tag along to make fun of the ride leader and let them know the ride sucks.

I always have a ride planned after the Christmas ride that gives those disappointed riders a chance to get out and really do some fun riding. The problem is that most of the riders are worn out after the first ride so they don't have the enthusiasm to do the cool ride.

This year there were two very fit riders from Quebec that thought the first ride sucked and after offering them $200 each to trying my second ride they decided to join me for the traildoc world class second ride.

Well I must admit there were a lot of    on the second ride. In fact the two guys cancelled there trip to Phoenix to ride McDowell and have opted to do the famous Damifino ride with me tomorrow. If anyone else would like to join us let me know.

Well it has been quite a Christmas just got back from seeing the new Sherlock Holmes movie with my neighbor who invited me over for some Chrismas treats then to the movie with her friend.

Pretty good flick if you are into that sort of thing. Should be an interesting day of riding tomorrow. A little concerned about north facing sections of slickrock.

Attached is a picture of the typical gathering of the riders who need some help at the rehab clinic. We had one rider from Minnisota that was on his way to the Grand Canyon and got sidetracked on the Christmas ride. The bottom picture is of him almost craching riding down a pretty steep section of trail.
