Every year (unforchunately summer) i have to go back to the northern mid west to visit family. it is always a very boring trip but this year i actually get to bring my HT. since i will have my bike, i plan to document the trip with pics and vids of whatever i find to ride....mostly urban since i don't know of any DJ's but there are also two skateparks i will have to hit. both sets of grandparents live in Iowa so i will be in two areas there. both cities having skateparks will be nice...so this will be the best way to have the most possible fun on the trip. on the way home im going through CO springs to check it out and hopefully ride some DJ's and trails in CO. i'll be on most everyday to update pics and such of whats going down. hopefully i can find some fun spots...
Time for that "family trip" again

i just went on my family trip, this time it was to canada. i was bummed it wasnt whistler or anything. but we drove from virginia to niagra falls, then toronto. it was actually prretty fun. lots of nice stuff to look at. i was bummed when i got to toronto becuase there was soooo much friggin urban riding to do there. i actually saw a couple kids riding there. maybe next time whistler?ebfreerider510 said:

man, that sounds like it'll be pretty fun! i wish i rode urban a few years ago when i was in niagra falls. alot of good riding and i saw kids doing urban ridin and it was cool. i'm hoping to bring my bike on all our small trips to visit family this summer!

Me and a friend are hitting CPX next weekend. Either Sat or Sun. I dunno yet.
sounds good, i will be about a 4-5hr drive from chicago, but i will be able to make it sometime next weekend i think. i just have to get times and make sure it is all cool. im tryin my best to make it for sure. how is riding there on an HT? i have heard that it isn't a problem but just making sure. i have a pike like you so i can always up the travel if were huckin off anything. what kind of stuff is built there? i know there are shore like stunts but also some big gaps? im stoked though

I'm fat and I suck and I can do all the jumps out there on a hardtail. Except for a couple on the old side.
Of course, I haven't ridden everything there yet and I've been there 3 times.
