Bought the Slip model from Speedgoat.com. The lens broke in half (and I always kept it in the case when not in use). Not only that, but Speedgoat.com wouldn't reply to my notes or repsond to a request for the required RMA# to return the item. Don't buy from them... you're on your own and out the $ if you do...not a place to look for good deals.

How did it break in half?

I have only good things to say about Speedgoat.
They have a great online selection and their service and response has been great.

Speedgoat.com - inexcusable customer service

You must be one of the lucky few then Little Frog.. I don't know how or when the lens cracked at the bridge...took very good care of them, along with my Bolle and Brikos which I've owned for years without problems. The bigger concern is not with the Tifosi, although disappointed, but with Speedgoat and their total lack of response.

I do know that Speedgoat is totally unresponsive to emails and request for RMA. Given the fact that they only give you 30 days to return an item and charge you a 15% re-stocking fee...I'd say it is pretty shabby and will not do business with them again. I can only be thankful that it was only a $50 item and not a bike.

I have two sets of Tifosi's. Same model. I bought the second set after cracking the main lense in half by putting it into my jersey pocket (w/o frame) on a DH run. I can't imagine breaking a lense in the case though.
