Hello! I have mtb lock on grips and when I put effort on grips make a tick noise. This happen to my left grip 1 month before and now is happening to right grip. Its normal this? Im very sure is coming from my grips. When I loosened the bolt from grips is doesnt make this noise. What a strange problem.

Do the grips have a torque spec on them? Is there a sweet spot between tight enough and not ticking?

Maybe is very tight because is sliding easy. I dont have torqur wrench but I will try to loosen full and then tight until is not sliding

The problem now is fixed. I cleaned handlebars with IPA and I torqued the grips less than before. Now is doesnt make any sound. Thank you😃!
