IIRC @aosty got the ti carriers for a few of us SS MTBR folks back in the mid- to late ‘90s.
I wish the chainring bolts did thread directly into the carrier but no, have to use CR nuts on the backside.

Wow, blast from the past.... IIRC, it was challenging to find quality cogs > 20t. I probably have one or two sitting in a drawer.... never used. I think Paragon made them but I doubt it ever became a production item.

I wonder if that's the same bolt pattern as the Avid Microadapter rings. Those came in 20T. The assembly could be lightened up with Ti chainring bolts, or better yet, Al male side/Ti female side.

I believe it is the Microadaptor ring size. I put my carrier + ring combo together with aluminum chainring bolts because that's what I had on hand and they fit. But I never trusted alu CR bolts so I hope the thing holds together.
I'm building my 29+ frame up as an SS because I have everything I need to do so in my parts bin. (Well, except a dropper post, which I ordered today.) Anyway everybody needs a singlespeed, don't they?

No worries! MTBR’s famous for polluted threads and I, for one, think they’re a good thing. Except, you know, when they’re not.

Looks the same as the one in the pic. Mine is 5 x 58mm -- same as the old granny standard.
