Hello,
Many of my part manuals give their torque recommendations for their steel bolts. How do you know how much to adjust for Ti and aluminum bolts? Is there a general rule of thumb?
I guess I could give the recommendation for the steel bolts to the Ti or aluminum bolt manufacturers; however, many of the bolts do not even have steel torque guidelines.
With so many questions concerning bolts, it would be so helpful if there was a verly large fact sheet dealing with all the confusing stuff !! Anybody out there have the time? There are a couple of good posts and articles, but they really are incomplete (no offense to those who worked hard on them - I've used the info and it was great!)
Thanks again,
Stephen Walters
