Lake Chabot dirt ride tonight.

Meet at 6pm in the dirt parking lot at the Nike classroom, across from the Public Safety Offices off of Lake Chabot Rd (up the long driveway to the right of the main marina entrance - 17930 Lake Chabot Road), leave by 6:15pm.

Ride will be approximately 20(ish) miles. Ten Hills (keep your mouths closed - lots of flies right now!) and climb either Brandon or Live Oak. Redtail, Soaring Hawk, MacDonald, Skyline median, back into Chabot and around to the front of the Marina again.

It won't be a hammer pace, but it won't be a slow one either. Maybe next time we can try something a little longer (like the 35 mile loop I mentioned in the previous Lake Chabot thread.)

Hope to see you there!

It was a blast! No one from MTBR showed up, but a couple friends I normally ride with did.

They both rode their singlespeeds (wish I'd have known, I'd have brought mine too! Or at least the 1x9.) We did the exact loop described and kept a good pace with minimal stops. Redtail is a total dust bowl right now and the flies on Ten Hills are pretty awful.

Out there representin' Team Wrong Way and Eden Bicycles. If you ever see a Wrong Way or Eden jersey out there, chances are good that it's me or someone I regularly ride or race with.

Yes, it's super dusty just about everywhere right now, and since I'm always the slowest I end up eating everybody's dust these days. Wednesday night, I even swallowed a bug by the lake...
