Sedona is set under 4 to 5 inches of fresh snow. I've hooked up with some desperate out of town riders ... looking for dry trails. Any beta on Thumper? I'm hoping that we can ride the Dead Horse trails on Monday ...

????

Thx.

Do not recommend. We just had precip and raptor/thumper/lime kiln has death-mud. Best bet would be Sedona early while its still frozen.

After much thought, we rode Dead Horse. So pleased and totally surprised ... miles and miles of well packed sand. Super fast turns with only one spot totalling a few yards of clay holding moisture. Even Upper Raptor was good to go. Even better, some trail fairy has re-routed all of the bad rut/washed out sections. Increasing the flow up and down. The gnarly ruts are still there if you want some.

Overall, Thumper/Raptor was PRIMO. Get some.

Two very pleased Canadians. The last time they rode was a month ago at 15 deg fer BELOW ZERO. :skep: Great riders, happiness found.

That's good. There is a ranger out there that takes care of those trails (he is a mountain biker). Glad it worked out. I've gotten burned there before with the mud though.
