18 hours...from fixture setup to out of the bake box for a frame and fork.

I had a sponsored racer that needed a new ride before the season started. I had lost track of time when he stopped by the shop Saturday afternoon and reminded me that his first pre-season race started at noon the next day.

It was an all night push, even built the wheels between paint coats.

Finished assembally 1 hour before the race, fortunately the bike fit like a glove

Johnny ended up riding to a second place.

cheers,

rody

Yep,

We did a "telescoping tapered extension". Fortunately the id/od of the seatstay legs snugged up perfectly and there is about 1 1/2" of internal tube.
It really pays to save those bits and pieces.
Our original seat stay didnt work out with tire clearance( building a 29er for a short folk) so we had to go to plan "B" which may become plan"A" from now on....
