what size spanner will i need to tighten up the threaded headset on my bike. The fork is a normal 1 1/8th steerer and i have no spanners that are even close to being able to tighten up the headset so i have nothing to compare it to. i'm guessing its a 36mm or a 40mm but i'm not to sure which

A 1-1/8" threaded headset uses a 36mm wrench. A 1-1/4" uses a 40mm.
