I'm looking for opinions from people that own a Morewood bike. I'm looking into getting an Izuma DH and want to learn so more about the bike.
I raced a Shova (FR bike) all season, then this past weekend raced my teammate's Izimu.

WOW. What a great bike! Handled well, cornered really well. Not as heavy as the DHR. After riding a couple other bikes at the Bootleg Dirt Demo, have I come to decide that the Izimu really is a great bike that has earned my respect and appreciation. Additionally, the folks at Morewood are some of the most approachable, professional, and reliable people I have met in the industry.

I'm right on the edge of ordering an Izimu for myself. I haven't had the courage to break the news to the husband yet... I think I have to sell a bike first, just to make room in the garage.

Go for the Izimu. You will love this bike. Oh! And the best part is that in Zulu, "izimu" means "cannibal" :D

what is really cool is when Sunnyracegirl is alone with friends she praises Moorewood....never has a bad thing to say...this is the greatest compliment of all.

Just started riding thier frames. I have been riding a friend’s izuma here and there and love it. I have had many DHR's before and can say the izuma is lighter and feels better to me. Not to nock on the DHR, because it is one of the best frames out there. I just feel more at home on the izuma. I have a ndiza st now. It rails!!! I have also been cross country riding on a shova and can say that frame would be great for a all around bike. You will not go wrong getting a Morewood. Call Tom at Morewood 828-687-0788 and get him to hook you up.
