Hi guys,

I upgraded my seatpost today and got a 330mm Thomson. I am somewhat worried about the maximum insertion line. Currently it is about 1inch below the top of the seat-post frame. I know technically I am "ok" but are there others who feel this is a danger? I probably should have gotten the 400mm seatpost, but they didn't have it at the LBS.

I guess I just need words of assurance that I am being paranoid

If the line is 1 inch inside the frame thats good. No need for all that extra post in the frame doing nothing....

Also I guess I wasn't sure if the bike itself had a minimum length seat post requirement, but it probably doesn't. Though I think some frames do...
