It's a whyte prst-4 4 inches of travel front and rear supposed to weigh 25.5 lbs I have the review on the bike on the back of a picture of a foes fly I cut out from MBR from forever ago. It didnt get rave reviews.

Whilst it is a Whyte, the rear end is totally Marin. No doubt built by the same factory.

Looks like a Praying Mantis to me.

Ok so its not that great a bike. But you have to admit.

It sure does look the part

It is the new version of the Whyte with the QUAD linkage rear end. John Whyte is the engineer that does Marin's suspension designs, thus the similarities. The QUAD system rides alot better then the older single pivot design on the Marins, but I have not tried the linkage fork on the Whyte.

It's a Whyte bike. John Whyte designed the Quad Link rear suspension design that Marin is using. He's an ex-Formula One engineer. Which is probably why the bike is so freakish looking. Though maintenance on it would be very easy. I've heard it rides like a dream, but have no personal experience with it.
