is it a headache or is it legit? all my 20mm forks have been bolt on...i am kinda of scared of it braking on me then what will i do? i see that it was used in many vidoes and redbull rampage so it looks bullet proof....anyways if some of you can contest that it is a legit system it would help abit.

i dont know about other people, but it worked for me on my dj2. i herd of people stripping the QR20 screws but i never had a problem... i never over tightend the screws---my friend did though, and striped them. :D :D :D :D --as for the QR part, it aint any faster. it took me the same time to remove the through axle on my dj2 as it did with the monster T. good thing marzocchi is gettin rid of that useless QR20....

i was a little sketched out by it too coming from my sherman, but it seems t be plenty strong. it isnt nearly as good a system as teh hex lock, but it doesnt really matter to me. i dig my 04, super plush, i kinda wanted something lighter but the super was my only choice at the time.

it seems theres a proper way to tighten down the newer QR20s, and its the opposite of what Marz has said (TNC did an explanation before). Breakages occur during installation by overtightening the cams.

I've got two 03 super T's man I love those forks. Marz makes a retrofit kit to get rid of the QR20 flaps I think it was around $25.
I am calling thme today to do this...

I don't like the flaps....

I want a secure straight bolt on deal.

Is that what ya get ?

the QR20 and QR20 Plus systems work fine.

morons who don't understand threaded fasteners seem to have problems with them, but then again, those same people probably can't even tie their own shoes.

the only "issue" with QR20 or QR20 Plus is that it's not a true through-axle. aside from that it works fine.

the naysayers are morons. it's that simple.

hey gonzo what have you got with calling people morons or maroons or whatever way u decide to spell it.

You slagged me off in my post about 8 inch rotors and didnt have the balls to reply to my post about you. Just cause you think you know everything gives you no right to slag off people who dont know as much.

So please give everyone else who wants to learn a break.

Aren't the flaps still there?

That's it, no more flaps
Or are we just talking semantics here. Granted, the large outer flap goes south with the bolt-on system, but isn't there still the articulating flap that grips the axle? Once I disregarded Zoke's assembly order, my QR20+ has been flawless, and I can still get the wheel out in a heartbeat. I'm lazy and really got tired of constantly unfastening those little screws on my Firefly...and cringing every time I tightened them. It's not a big deal for those who hardly ever have to remove their wheel for transport, but if you do, the QR20+ works great.
