Who doesn't love the 4th of July? Communists, that's who. But that's not what this is about. Where are the best places in NorCal to watch a fireworks display? Do cities still do such a thing? Monterey cut their program 10 years ago, but the city of Seaside hosts a show at Bayonet & Blackhorse golf course. What else is out there?

Isn't there another thread saying how Tahoe is to be avoided due to the crowds? Sounds like a great spot there though especially since I'm sure folks are getting some good fireworks form Nevada. Down here on the central coast they limit us to snakes and sparklers....
