etc.. can they be used for trails too?
I like the idea of getting something for the trails, but I also want to learn some urban/jump stuff with these bikes.
I own a GT moto ...Its a versatile bike being i belive more 4X than pure jump. it does trail work really well, quality of the frame is good for the money and the geometry for play is also good. mine is used for playing in the woods and skills training.

The moto can be had frame and Fork deal from http://bicyclewarehouse.com/itemdetails.cfm?ID=6952

I just received mt new Iron Horse last night and so far all I can say after riding down the dtreet and back is I love it. I know that is alot to say after about a 10 min ride but that is where I stand untill I get it out on the trails at least. I got a similar deal on my bike at Randall Scott.com and so far I have no regrets. But it all comes down to what you decide on and what you think you will be most comfortable on. Which ever bike you wind up getting just remember to just RIDE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT !!!!!!

Yo mzungo, these frames come in only one size right?
I really like the specs of the GT, it's only a year old and its about half the MSRP.

How tall are you, and do you raise the seatpost to the max when on trails? I know these aren't supposed to be aggressive climbers but if they can climb it's good news..

5' 9.5" tall.
seat height to max for trail riding.
If you are taller than me i would say its to small as i feel i am at the limit for trails.I find it climbs very well, top tube is actually quite long.
