A cable is made of multiple wires. That's the definition of cable whether mechanical or electrical. So if there are no wires, there can be no cables. I'd go with wireless, which is also has the meaning of communication by radio, which is the case here.

When I pulled the wheels out of the box, I kind of seconded guessed the design. At that point I had no choice, but to grow to like it. Lol.
