The Ultimate Campground in Dupont Sucks

I wish I had seen motomarks post about this campground back in November. A cycling group from Atlanta known as RAMBO came up to visit Dupont and stayed at the Ultimate campground. Everything that motomark said is true. The sites are NOT level and the woman is a real *****. When everyone from the group was not able to attend she refused to give any refunds. I say that all mountain bikers should stay away from this hellhole of a camp ground. They cater to horses. So the whole campground stinks and the horses make noises all night long. I felt bad for my friends from Atlanta, but we got to show them some excellent trails in Dupont. There are much better campgrounds within a twenty minute drive.:madmax:

Yep, never heard any good about that place. the Black Forest Family campground is great for a large group camping, and you want to be close to Dupont!
it's on the right coming up 276 from Greenville, about 1/2 mile into NC.

I'll vouch for this place too. Real friendly owners, and nice campsites with clean shower houses.:thumbsup:

muuuum... with 4th of July and Bele Chere coming up, me being less than employed and having Bent Creek out the gate - my back yard is starting to look like an oasis for the weary mountain bikeing tourist.....

Just don't tell anybody - OK?

Sorry to hear it...

I was thinking maybe it was just a day she was off her meds, but it sounds like same old story. They really are TERRIBLE primitive sights and her atitude is completely unacceptable for anyone who is dealing with the public.
