A great idea. Here in Australia, I have never seen any such signs but think it would be great for the less learned riders who head out during the winter and summer months for a casual ride..

Around a very popular ride location, there is a number of hills (Godfather I and Godfather II) which have caused numerous broken collar bones because weekend warriors or people have not though of the glaringly obvious before preceding the ride the descent.

That's awsome

It's good to see signs like that. It shows the hiking/horseback riding community that mountain bikers are not all trail destroying kuckleheads. We actually want to presevre the trails so everyone can enjoy them.

Kudos to whoever helped put them up.

Corrections are in order

(descent) "keep feet parallel to ground". Not exactly, keep the crank arms level even if the ground is sloped.

(climb) "find a gear" Did they consult with Screampint?
