The real questions remains unanswered.
Is hard tail better than full suspension?
We all witnessed the 2008 olympics in the mountain bike contest.
The majority was on HT's.
Why?
I am not sure.
I would like to hear impressions from riders.
People who dispose of both bikes.
Where is it that you find the real advantage.
I personally ride HT,pounding torque on those pedals seems to be all I need.
But again....
This is for XC riders.

Impressions from the average Joe would be a lot better....
And those impressions have been given over and over and over again. Heck there is a thread over is passion about this called "Hard Tails". We just don't want to start a new thread about a subject we have discussed to death...

And dude, you've been a member since 07. You should know better. Everyone's right, there's two topics on this subject that are ACTIVE already. A forum search is probably unnecessary, as they're probably still on the first page.
