As I stated in another thread I ordered an 18t Endless KAC. I got it
Sat. and took a couple of bad pics then installed it on the new wheelset
I just got. The cog weighed 25.5gm. The wheelset weighed 1506 for disc.
I'd say a bit lighter than the stock wheelset off the 1FG. :D

Good day - Veni Vidi Vici.

Looks cool - it won't trash a WTB butter-soft AL freehub body?

Sweet!
Thanks for posting the pics.
I'm curious about these light wheels!
Are you whom I spoke to you on the phone about DT 240's with 717's?
If not, how are they built?
I'm the guy from Williamsburg, Va. You sent the cog to Trish for me,
thanks again.

I ordered these wheels from Dave at Speed Dream Wheels, they are
built with,
Stans ZTR Olympic Disc rims frt and rear
Frt hub is an old style (stiffer axle than new style) American Classic
Rear hub is a White Industries. Spokes are 2.0/1.7 and 1.8/1.55
Dave weighs them and puts the weights on the sales slip.....Frt 647gms
rear 859gms....I did not weigh them myself BUT weighed the bike and the
C-dale 1FG went from a diet weight of about 22#s to 20.25#s w/these wheels
and a set of Nokion NBX lite 2.0 tires I had laying around. Cost of the wheelset
was $584.00 shipped.

I got to tell you guys this bike accels hard out of turns and is almost too nimble.
I think it started out at around 26#s w/out pedals.....I swapped out a few parts I
had in the garage so getting the weight down didn't cost much.......it's not crazy
lite but very rideable for my 180# weight and w/a few more $$ could easily get into
the 19# range. I got no complaints, it's a trail rocket!

I heard On-One said in another thread they he's torn up WTB with casettes. I think they're pretty soft. I'm going to try some Endless cogs and hope for the best.
After a few hard rides, no issues with my endless & WTB Lazerdisc hub (couldn't say the same about DX cog).

I managed to scare up an 18 and 20t King stainless cogs. I've not ridden it yet, but will do so soon. I'm sure it'll be fine - or I'll throw the WTB's in the garbage and get some Kings or Hadley's...:)
I'm just lookin' for an excuse :)
