Sweet...I have done this with a group the last two years. Lets hope the weather this year is better than it was last year.
The HP ProCurve Coolest 24 race against cancer registration opens tonight at 12:00
The Coolest 24 racer reg will open tonight !! This year the Coolest 24 is part of the Livestrong Foundation and will take on only 1000 racers. The racers will get dinner on Saturday evening and on Sunday morning Pancakes, hashbrowns and eggs and hot coffee.
This year we will raffle off the Livestrong handmade motorbike dressed all in Yellow. (We sold one bike we made for the RideSFO show for $3,000)
This year the Coolest 24 will be picking one person that is fighting cancer from the Nor Cal area on all paid trip to Austin Texas with Jimmyboy and to take ride with Lance Armstrong and then head out staurday evening with Lance and others at a big Livestrong fundraiser.
Please come and join the number one 24hr MTB cancer fundraiser in the counrty in the fight agaisnt cancer and the joy of the best pain Mt biking can serve up!! Yes! there will be some three kegs to give away to a team or two as always. Thanks to Santa Cruz Ale works!! Oh yes!! there will be a few changes in the course as always.Very small ones. Just to make it more fun!! More single track or more climbs? What to we want?
Just a heads up as we have come to terms with the Auburn State Parks and there will be a $5.00 a car parking charge. It's better than the $10.00 charge they were asking.
I wish I could say that Lance was coming, but they are not letting us say anything at this point in time. The Armstrong Foundation will be there in with the Livestrong team and tents. Don't forget racer reg goes up in price the longer you wait. There is no race day registration.

Yes it's in Cool again this year!!

To answer the question for the 500 time after getting so many e-mails. I don't know if Lance is coming!! They said here will be in Nor Cal area training the week of the Coolest 24 for the Tour. Can't always believe what you here.
