Hey, I have a 2006 norco vps six and I was wondering that if i bought just a frame, if I could just swap some of the parts over.

I know that not all of the parts could be swapped. But would it be worth it to do this, or would the cost in parts just cost more than the bike itself???

If you are swapping to a current DH frame then not much will transfer. Not sure which 2006 Six you have, but the forks are too short for a DH frame, the cranks are 73mm shell and probably too long for a DH bike, and the rear wheel is 135mm instead of a 150. Some stuff will transfer, but mostly the less expensive stuff.

unless you find a frame that will work with your current parts. maybe not a full-on race-ready dh frame, but something like light-dh or even a 7-8" am frame.
